How does the 90/180 rule work?
Citizens of the non-EU Western Balkan countries may stay in the Schengen area without a visa for a maximum of 90 days in any 180-day period.
The 180-day window is 'rolling' — for each day you look back 180 days. Days become 'free' as older stays drop out of that window.
Both the entry day AND the exit day count as days of presence. Overstaying can result in a fine and an entry ban.
