Frequently Asked Questions for Employers
Everything German hospitals, clinics and care facilities need to know about working with World Healthcare Recruitment.
Our model is transparent and results-driven: the recruitment costs are borne solely by the employer, while the process is entirely free of charge for candidates. We work on a success-fee basis — the fee only becomes due once a candidate has been successfully placed and the agreed milestone is reached (typically the signing of the employment contract or the candidate's arrival at the workplace). The specific fee amount and payment schedule are agreed on a per-project basis, depending on the profile, the number of positions and the scope of support, and are always defined by contract before the collaboration begins. There are no hidden costs and no upfront charges.
For every placement we agree on a replacement guarantee within a defined period. Should a candidate fail to take up the position or leave the role within that guarantee period, we provide a suitable replacement candidate at no additional recruitment fee, or apply an alternative resolution model agreed by contract. The duration of the guarantee period and the conditions for its application are precisely set out within the collaboration, giving the employer clear and predictable protection of their investment.
We prepare candidates so that on arrival they have the language level required by German regulations and by the specific role — typically B1 or B2 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR), including specialised medical German (Fachsprache). The level is evidenced by a recognised certificate (e.g. telc, Goethe-Institut, ÖSD), and where required by profession-specific exams (telc Deutsch B1·B2 Pflege / Medizin). We align the exact target level with the requirements of your facility and the competent chamber before the final placement.
We manage and coordinate the entire process of qualification recognition (Anerkennung) and visa acquisition, in cooperation with the competent German authorities (e.g. the recognition offices / health ministries of the federal states) and consular representations — the employer does not have to deal with the administration. External official costs (Anerkennung fee, certified translations, visa fee, language course) are generally separate from the agency fee; who bears them — employer, candidate, or shared — is agreed on a per-project basis. Many employers cover part of these costs as part of an attractive package to attract talent, but this is a matter of agreement.
We cover the full range of healthcare profiles from the former-Yugoslavia region: nurses and nursing staff, doctors (general practitioners and specialists), pharmacists, physiotherapists and care assistants. The monthly capacity depends on the requested profile, the target language level and the timeframe, and is agreed on a per-project basis — from individual placements to organised group recruitment. For planned, larger needs we work on a pipeline model with a pre-defined cadence, so we can give you a realistic capacity estimate already at the introductory meeting, based on your specific requirements.
Yes. We work equally with large clinics and with smaller care homes, private practices and facilities with individual needs. For smaller facilities we tailor the process so that it is simple and free of administrative burden for your team — we handle the selection, preparation and full coordination. Every collaboration begins with a free introductory consultation in which we define your needs, regardless of the number of positions.
